Known as the creator of the first modern atlas, Ortelius intricately combines geography with history, offering a window into the past through the lens of esteemed scholars like Pliny, Strabo, and Tacitus.
This map vividly depicts ancient Germany and its neighboring regions, stretching from the mysterious lands of Sarmatiae in the east to the culturally rich expanse of Galliae pars in the west.
