Snowy Neighborhood Cottage Porcelain Limoges Box

A little cottage sits snug under fresh snow in this winter neighborhood scene, with Santa adding a merry holiday touch. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box made in Limoges, France, for anyone who builds a snowy village each December.

First Snowfall on the Block

There is a special hush when snow settles over a neighborhood, softening rooftops and lighting up windows. This cottage captures that quiet magic, and the presence of Santa hints that Christmas Eve is close at hand.

Building the Winter Village

Many families set up a miniature village on a sideboard or mantel each year, adding a new house as the collection grows. This porcelain cottage fits right in among ceramic houses, bottle brush trees and skating ponds, and it adds the fine finish of Limoges to the street.

Warm Wishes From the Neighborhood

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• A cozy addition to a Christmas village or winter collection
• A thoughtful holiday present for a neighbor, realtor client or new homeowner

It is especially fitting for a first Christmas in a new home, or as a thank you to the neighbor who shovels the walk. Keep it out from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day, and it brings a little warmth to the coldest weeks of the year.
